Promise Week
We invite you to join us for Promise Week – when the FHS community will come together to raise awareness and support for FHS bursaries via The Promise Campaign and the Hardship Fund, as well as upcoming school projects. This week celebrates the potential, creativity and ambition of FHS Girls – the leaders of tomorrow!
What’s Happening During Promise Week?
Our students and staff will be at the heart of Promise Week, fuelling it’s energy and impact.
- The girls will create ‘Make a Promise’ bracelets in form time – a small, meaningful way to show their support for each other and the wider FHS community.
- Our brilliant staff will take on a 12-hour Rowing/Cycling Challenge, with the community generously donating for every mile covered!
- Parents and alumni will receive themed updates, including an FHS podcast with a behind-the-scenes look at school life and a special International Women’s Day episode led by Eva Fleury and Maya Smith on the women shaping our culture.
- Join us for ‘Jazz Night: An Evening of Promises’ on Thursday 13th March, Senior Hall – see below for more!
Where Your Support Matters Most
Promise Week focuses on three key areas where your philanthropy can make the biggest difference:
- Capital Projects, ensuring our facilities continue to inspire and support every student.
- The Promise Campaign, providing life-changing opportunities for bright, deserving girls who wouldn’t otherwise have access to an FHS education.
- The Hardship Fund, helping current pupils continue their studies despite unexpected financial challenges.
At FHS, we’re dedicated to giving every pupil the best opportunities to grow and succeed. Promise Week is our pledge to make sure every girl feels supported, inspired, and empowered to follow her dreams.
If you would like to learn more or pledge your support, please follow the links above to your chosen cause.

To mark the end of Promise Week, we warmly invite you to a special evening of live music, inspiring conversation, and shared purpose.
We are also honoured to welcome back Diana Virgovicova, a former Foundation Scholar (2020) and CEO of Xatoms, who will share how her groundbreaking work in quantum chemistry is transforming access to clean drinking water, and will reflect on how education empowers women to drive meaningful change.
How To Attend
Rather than purchasing a ticket, we invite you to make a donation to the area that resonates with you most – Capital Projects, The Promise Campaign, or The Hardship Fund. Donations can be made in advance or on the night, and every contribution, no matter the size, will help create meaningful opportunities for our students.
More than anything, this is a special chance to come together, celebrate, and reflect on the difference we can make as a community.
We hope to see you there!
