Year 8’s camping trip to Pembrokeshire with Flooglebinder was an unforgettable experience, combining adventure with learning about sustainability and the natural world. We explored ideas like insect farming, visited an aquarium and went rock pooling to study marine life, and took part in exciting activities including coasteering, where we even spotted a seal. We also learned about seaweed as a sustainable resource. The trip ended with a sustainability enterprise challenge, where one group won with a recycled soft toy design. Overall, the trip helped us develop teamwork, creativity and a deeper understanding of the environment.
