To herald in the start of the Easter Break, the Senior School gathered in Holy Trinity Church on the last day of Spring Term to worship together. Mrs Elphinstone welcomed the FHS community in a reflection on end of a busy term, whilst emphasising the importance of showing compassion to others at a time of international conflict and strife, whilst the service was led by Nakita Ainsworth from HTB Church. Readings included John 13: 1-14, 34-35 read by Raphaella, the Lower VI Chapel Prefect, and Mark 15: 21-39 read by Mrs Elphinstone, alongside hymns When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, My Love is a Song Unknown, and Thine Be the Glory. We were also treated to beautiful music led by Miss Vickery, Mr Mercer and Maki Gajic Murata, including Et Misericordia from John Rutter’s Magnificat, performed gloriously at the Spring Concert the night before.
Thank you to our FHS community for joining us for Easter Worship this morning, and we wish everyone a restful break.
