On Monday 11th October, students of the Greek Art component of the Classical Civilisation A Level visited the British Museum to see Nero: the man behind the myth, an exhibition which questioned the traditional view of the excessive tyrant.

Although it is obviously not part of the syllabus, it gave them a broader understanding if the classical world, it demonstrated the sculptural legacy of the Greeks and it was very exciting to see works of art at first hand!
