The U12 team had an incredible experience at the MCC Indoor Cricket Tournament at Lord’s Indoor Cricket Centre. They competed in a series of tight and exciting games, securing impressive wins against Latymer, Godolphin B, and Lady Margaret. Despite their best efforts, the team narrowly missed out on a place in the final, losing to Harrodian in the semi-final by a handful of runs. There was fantastic teamwork, communication, and collaboration throughout the tournament, which was key to the team’s strong performances.
Alongside the cricket tournament, the team enjoyed a special tour of Lord’s, the home of cricket. They explored the iconic dressing room balcony and visited the media centre, making it a unique and unforgettable experience for all.
Saskia was named Batter of the Tournament for her outstanding performance with the bat. Ruby was awarded Bowler of the Tournament for her impressive bowling, and Cora earned Fielder of the Tournament for her exceptional work in the field. Well done to the entire team for their efforts to make this a wonderful day of cricket!
