What better way to start the month of December than with a trip to the theatre!

Girls in Years 3-6 were lucky enough to experience the magic of Matilda the Musical, composed by Tim Minchin, at the Cambridge Theatre and what a treat it was! From hilarious acting to wonderfully catchy songs, it was impossible not to grin and sing along. Hopefully we will all follow in the book-loving, hard-working footsteps of Matilda, rather than listening to Mr Wormwood. Watching television is, in fact, certainly not a better alternative to books!

“The special effects and set design were fascinating” – Addie, Year 6

“The acting was very realistic; the songs were phenomenal and amazingly choreographed!” – Isabella, Year 6
