Over the summer, an exciting transformation took place at the heart of Francis Holland, with the completion of our beautiful new Dining Hall.
Created as the first completed project of the Unlocking the Potential campaign, the new space has been designed to be much more than a place to eat. Light, welcoming and thoughtfully designed, it provides girls with a space to come together throughout the school day, whether sharing lunch with friends, connecting with different year groups, or simply taking a moment to recharge.
Particular attention has been given to comfort, wellbeing and acoustics, creating a calmer and more enjoyable environment for pupils and staff alike. The flexible design will also support a range of activities beyond mealtimes, including educational workshops, events and community gatherings.
This project was only made possible through the generosity of parents, alumnae and friends of the School, culminating in the spectacular Her Story Gala last June. We are immensely grateful to everyone who supported the campaign and helped bring this exciting new space to life for current and future Francis Holland girls. Thank you.
