We are so proud of the Lower Sixth students who presented a TEDx talk this week. The theme was ‘What If…?’ and our audience was treated to an extraordinary range of talks including ‘What if we could speak to animals?’, ‘What if Europeans never colonised the United States?’, ‘What if our creativity is in decline’ and ‘What if we reinvented the “mad woman” in literature?’. The girls were guided brilliantly by our debate coach, Maria Garan, and should be extremely proud of their achievements, which were original, creative and professional. The talks will be uploaded to the TEDx Youtube channel in September where everyone will be able to see them.
