What an exciting morning at the annual School Swimming Carnival! The competition was fierce, but it was Ashcroft who ultimately came out on top with a total of 1410 points, narrowly edging out Franklin, who finished in second place with 1400 points. Franklin wasn’t far behind, securing third place with 1110 points, while Woolf rounded out the rankings with 880 points.

This year saw some incredible new events that were a huge hit with everyone! The Noodle Dash and Deep Dive events brought a lot of fun and energy to the carnival, quickly becoming fan favourites. The Carnival Team Relays also received a fantastic response, with each team showing off their spirit, teamwork, and competitive edge.

The carnival was filled with incredible performances, but some standout moments really stole the show. Natalie Hebel made a splash by breaking records in both the Year 8 Freestyle and Butterfly events, while Ines Granger set a new record in the Year 8 Breaststroke race.

The House spirit was absolutely electric, with cheers and support echoing throughout the morning. Everyone had an absolute blast, and it was a fantastic display of sportsmanship and fun. Huge congratulations to all the participants and House teams for making this year’s carnival one to remember!
