On Wednesday, four of our best year 10 physicists travelled with Mr Clements up to St Helen’s in North London to take place in the Annual Physics escape room tournament. Maya, Iman, Emma and Lara competed brilliantly against 19 other all girl teams from across London. They worked fast and collaborated brilliantly to beat the escape room tasks and then quite literally ran during the equation team race. However, they excelled in the A-Level physics practical, coming second, taking meticulous measurements of spring oscillations. Their efforts meant that they placed 5th out of 20 and the tournament organisers stressed that the level of competition they saw this year was the highest it had ever been, so congratulations are richly deserved for all of them as future physicists in the making.
