This Thursday, the Sixth Form had the pleasure of welcoming Tom Edmonds to our Speaker Programme. Tom provided us with a fascinating insight on the significance of technology and social media in modern elections. As half of the team that led the Conservatives’ digital campaign during the 2015 General Election, Tom knew exactly what it takes to have a successful campaign. This included various campaign strategies, such as campaigning for change if your party is not in office, or sticking to the plan if your party is currently in office. This opened my eyes to the many other jobs existing in politics.
