We were so lucky to welcome Lottie Mills, a visiting writer who gave us an exceptional insight into the world of brilliant young writer like herself. After telling us about her journey with sports and growing up with cerebral palsy and how it impacted her, she began telling us about how she went on to win BBC’s young author of the year award and become the resident writer at Thomas’ School in Richmond. We were all so grateful to here her uplifting perspective and perseverance throughout her journey to becoming a brilliant writer. It was truly an inspiring talk which definitely influenced lots of us to consider a life as an author!
