On Wednesday 14th March, our gymnasts and dancers were excited to welcome parents, friends, grandparents and many more to an event where they could showcase their skills in a roller coaster of a show: the Annual Gym and Dance Performance of ‘We’re Only Human’.
From dancing to gymnastics, tumbling to pirouetting, strength to elegance the girls were inspirational this evening. Many of the pieces were choreographed by the girls themselves and we congratulate all the girls who took part in this event.
It must be noted that all girls in Year 7, including those who were injured had a vital role in the senior show, displaying true courage and creativity as well as being captivating in their performances. Scarlett and Violet did the brave job of narrating the show. There was an array of outfits, music and emotions on display this evening. This included solos from girls in Year 7 to Year 13 and combined pieces which involved the 2017 leaver Tessa, helping to make the show extra special and was a true reflection of what performing at the Gym and Dance show means to so many of the girls.
