On Friday 23rd March, we belatedly celebrated our 137th School Birthday combining it with our end of term Easter Service.
We were awash with daffodils and we sang the School anthem with gusto. During Lent, the girls have been trying to do Forty Acts of kindness, one for each day, and this has led to many touching moments of thoughtfulness and support. We have a ‘prayer tree’, made for us by the Art department, and the girls have been able to place their prayers on the branches so that the whole School can join in supporting the needs of our community.
While the sun shone, the Junior girls enjoyed a fabulous egg hunt in the playground, and the Infants then performed a spectacular Easter bonnet parade and some delightful songs and poems about Spring, displaying some very inventive and colourful, handmade bonnets.
