It was an exciting first week of school for Reception as they embarked on their new adventure as Francis Holland girls.

We were all eager to start on Monday morning and the girls bounded into their new classroom with much enthusiasm.  They have got stuck into lots of fun activities this week including gingerbread man decorating, creating crazy Picasso faces and making their own name badges.  The girls have also been working hard in their first phonics and maths lessons and even had a chance to explore the school on a gingerbread man hunt.  Everybody has settled into school quickly and we are all excited to see what the term ahead brings.
