Last week, Reception welcomed some new members to the class.

Our chick eggs arrived in their incubator, and we eagerly watched as they hatched and made their way into the world. The girls learnt about the lifecycle of the chicks and saw it playing out before their eyes as they grew from eggs to hatchlings and finally to chicks. The girls looked after them so well in our classroom and handled them with great sensitivity. They have demonstrated an excellent understanding of the responsibilities around living things.
