This week, Reception visited Belgrave Square for their weekly outdoor learning session. After a quick discussion about our five senses, we sat quietly and noticed the wonderful sounds, sights and smells of the natural surroundings.

The girls then explored the outdoor space to get inspiration for their poems about what they could see, hear, smell, touch and taste. Before heading to the playground, some girls read out their poems to the class.

Once we arrived back at the classrooms, the poems were illustrated with beautiful pictures of all the wonderful sights they had seen.
