I am sure you will join in to congratulate our friends in the Junior School who have put on a spectacular show this week with their production of The Lion King. It has been a joy to see so many students singing their hearts out and showing excellent commitment and bravery to being on stage.

It draws a direct parallel to all of those having new adventures on Expeditions Week throughout the week, as well as our Year 12 students who begin planning their next big adventure in life with Higher Education. Many thoughts and emotions are felt this week as challenges are overcome and new adventures come with feelings of excitement and adventure, as well as joy and relief to make it back home.

We also are full of emotion with the Junior School moving to Manresa Road, wishing our friends the best of luck with their exciting new home and feeling grateful for the collaboration we have had together so far. In celebrating all of these new and perhaps daunting times, which comes with excitement as we look to the future, there surely is no better way to reflect and reset than with a feel-good song!

In the Music Department, we encourage you to take a few minutes out and jam along to a ‘wonderful phrase’ and use music to throw any worries away – Hakuna Matata to you all!
