The FHS Model United Nations Society had a busy weekend, with 15 students from Year 11 attending the Wimbledon High Model UN day and 19 sixth formers simultaneously travelling to Reigate for the Reigate Grammar MUN event. A great time was had by all. Two students, Iman and Maria in Year 11, received certificates for being Highly Commended Delegates which was a huge achievement given that there were several hundred students present. Topics for debate included rising sea levels, industrialisation vs sustainable development and antibiotic resistance. We are extremely proud of all the students who took part. Special thanks also to Ed Sylvester, Head of Politics and Oli Wood, Cover Supervisor, who gave up their Saturdays to manage these trips.
