At the weekend, 17 girls from Year 8 and 9 travelled to Shropshire for the GSA netball weekend.

Over 35 schools from across the country gathered at Condover Hall for a mixture of netball and outdoor adventurous activities. The teams had a fantastic time and were lucky enough to experience a Q&A and side-line coaching tips from England Netball star Nat Panagarry.

The girls faced tough competition and after their stellar performances on day 1, were through to the Plate competition on day 2. The girls continued to play some of their best netball with the U13s coming runners-up. An outstanding achievement for a squad who had their year 7 training disrupted by Covid and had only just recently had their first fixture representing Francis Holland!
