On Wednesday 19^th June, all the GCSE Art students, many parents, staff and pupils from varying year groups arrived to see the 2019 GCSE Art Show.

It is always a pleasure to see the show come together and the parents view their daughters finished work, possibly for the first time.

This year, Karen Hamilton, a Textiles specialist and teacher who recently ran a workshop in the department, kindly agreed to choose and present the Best Of Show award, that was given to Marie-Stella. Her sketchbook was a delight to view and she should be very proud of her achievements in Art.

I would like to say a big thank you to the Art department for all their work and time in building an exciting and ‘edgy’ show.
