EPQ Presentation Evening

15/05/2026

On Thursday afternoon, the OSH was a hive of activity as Year 12 students undertaking the Extended Project Qualification delivered talks to their peers and staff on their findings and reflected on their experiences during the presentation afternoon.

It was a fantastic showcase of the broad range of topics that the students had to chosen to research, ranging from the role played by civic hackathons in political education, the importance of cinema in the perpetuation of gender stereotypes, to female representation in the Star Wars universe! It was also a brilliant showcase of the amazing creations produced by the artefact students, such as 3D printed hip joint to show innovations in bioengineering, and a museum exhibition on politics and society in North Korea.

The hard work, passion and courage the girls showed in presenting was wonderful to see, and they should all be very proud of their accomplishments in the EPQ.
