On Thursday 28th March, students in Years 12 and 13 enjoyed an exciting and engaging series of lectures at their American Literature Conference at The Godolphin and Latymer School.

Talks from leading experts on American literature helped everyone to get a taste of life at University, and the highly academic approach was valued by our enthused A Level English Literature students.

Professor Sarah Churchwell was the Keynote Speaker, and her excellent lecture bodes well for her visit to FHS in May.
The students, Mr Galloway, Mr Macdonald-Brown and Mr Fernandes certainly had some full notebooks by the end of an intellectually stimulating day.
