Our LVI students took a trip to the Bank of England in the City of London on Friday 17th March.

We were able to investigate why bank notes are secured in the way they are. We managed to keep the economy and the inflation rate steady, using the interactive activities. Our experiments were followed by an informative lecture about the role of the Bank of England. The afternoon was rounded off with some videos which helped to consolidate our knowledge of the role of the Old Lady of Threadneedle Street.
