This week Year 7 and 8 gathered in the Dining Hall to take part in their first Big Sister event – the Big Sister Breakfast.

Starting a new school can be a daunting prospect and our Big Sister Programme pairs a Year 7 pupil with a Year 8 pupil in a buddy system. These pairings are sustained in events throughout the school year and provide our youngest members of the Senior School with a familiar face from the very start.

The girls got to know eachother over hot chocolate, breakfast pastries and fruit as members of the Student Leadership Team joined in the conversations on each table. It was wonderful for our Lower School pupils to interact with each other as well as our friendly Sixth Formers.

As breakfast finished and the school day began, we hope the Big Sister Breakfast has sown the seeds of great friendships which can continue in the years to come.
