We were delighted to welcome Navin Raina and Laetitia Argar from AMC Executive Search this week, to talk to sixth form students about paths into investment management. They reaffirmed what we already tell the students here; that communication skills, resilience and curiosity are all very important qualities for careers in this sector, alongside commercial awareness and being AI savvy. Navin and Laetitia offered useful tips to students about ‘finding a way in’ to investment management. Our students already take part in the Girls Are Investors (GAIN) UK Challenge, and have taken part in various insight days offered by investment managers. We are very grateful to Navin and Laetitia for generously giving up their time to come in.
