On the 8th and 9th June 2017 a cast made up of Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 performed in an outdoor production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The production intended to reflect the vibrancy and energy of the 1980s with songs, dances and costumes taken from that era. Bringing Shakespeare into the twentieth century allowed for audience participation and the girls all shone. The young actors were able to communicate Shakespeares language clearly and confidently and showcased their skills of strong physicality and movement. Their enthusiasm and infectious energy, in addition to their wonderful use of vocal projection, ensured that the audience were captivated and enthralled by this wonderful event.
