PARENTS'
ASSOCIATION
Founded in 2015, the Sloane Square Parents’ Association (SSPA) is a vibrant community of parent volunteers, Class Reps, PA Chairs, Committee members and working groups.
ABOUT US
The SSPA exists to bring parents together, support the school and enrich every pupil’s experience. We raise funds for projects and charities endorsed by the school while also organising social activities that connect families and children. Through our Form & Year Representative system, we provide a friendly and approachable channel for parents to stay informed and involved.
Our work ranges from organising networking and careers events to developing the bursary programme, mentoring initiatives and new charitable partnerships. We create a lively calendar of social and fundraising events, including inter-year gatherings, collaborative evenings with boys’ schools and special activities to welcome Year 7 families into our community.
Our Committee
Meeting once a term, the SSPA Committee brings together parents and school staff to create a supportive and engaging community. It includes the Head, Co-Chairs, Secretary, Treasurer, Charity Liaison, Event Co-Ordinator, Rep Co-Ordinator, and Class Reps. Class Reps, four per year group from Years 7 to 13, play a vital role in keeping parents connected, informed, and feeling part of the school community.
EVENTS AND FUNDRAISING
The SSPA hosts a variety of events each year that celebrate our community and support meaningful causes. Our calendar includes elegant Gala Dinners, lively Quiz Nights, formal and informal evening socials, second-hand uniform sales and our vibrant annual Spring Fairs. These gatherings not only connect parents and pupils but also raise funds for important initiatives.
Our fundraising supports the Francis Holland Promise Campaign, helping pupils in financial need, alongside longheld charitable partners such as Katherine Low Settlement, Mvumi School Trust, In-Deep and Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank. Every event and effort makes a real difference, both locally and further afield.
Get Involved
Volunteering with the SSPA is a wonderful way to meet other parents and support the school, and if you are interested in becoming a Class Rep, helping organise events or joining a fundraising initiative, we would love to hear from you.
