Our Sixth Form Information Evening on Wednesday 16th September 2026 is an opportunity to hear from Alexandra Haydon, the Head, meet our Sixth Form team and students, and learn what makes Sixth Form life here so special. You can also explore our beautiful Neo-Gothic Victorian Sixth Form Centre, The Old School House, which offers the perfect transition between school and university.

The deadline for 16+ entry in September 2027 is:

STEP 3
Interviews & Assessment
The next step is to sit entrance assessments in three subjects you are most likely to take at A level. Selected candidates are then invited in for an interview session with a senior member of our Sixth Form team. We will also request a reference from the Head of your current school.
Assessment Date: Wednesday 4th November 2026
Interview Date (selected candidates): Thursday 19th November 2026
Do you have particular strengths or talents in academia, art, ballet, drama, music or sport? If so, we warmly encourage you to apply for a 16+ scholarship – we are excited to celebrate what makes you unique!

Meet new and current Sixth Formers at our June induction morning to get to know one another and feel part of the community before joining. We want you to arrive in September feeling excited, supported and ready to embrace the many opportunities available in Sixth Form life.
