STEP 3
Interviews & Assessment
The assessment looks beyond academic ability and focuses on your daughter’s potential in problem-solving, critical thinking and creativity. It lasts 100 minutes and is usually taken at her current school.
All applicants will attend an interview. We will also request a reference from the Head of your daughter’s current school.
11+ Assessment Date at Francis Holland Sloane Square: Tuesday 1st December 2026
11+ Interview Date for all candidates: Friday 8th January 2027
We are part of the London 11+ Consortium, an association of 13 independent London day schools for girls operating one exam across the group.
STEP 4
Offers
Offer Date for 11+ Entry in 2027: Friday 12th February 2027
Families receiving an offer will be invited to attend one of our Offer Holder Events in the Spring Term. This is a relaxed and enjoyable opportunity to find out more about life at Francis Holland Sloane Square as well as to ask any questions.
Deadline to accept 11+ Entry in 2027: Wednesday 3rd March 2027

Starting at Francis Holland
Your daughter will be welcomed into our community with open arms from the moment you accept her place. Our Welcome Programme includes a Year 7 Activity Afternoon in April, a Welcome Afternoon in June and an Induction Day in September, ensuring that your daughter will feel comfortable, confident and at home here before her first day.
