AWARDS & ISI REPORTS
The outstanding results of our ISI Inspection Report in October 2024, as well as extensive national award success over recent years, reflect the extraordinary individual and collective achievements of our pupils and staff.
REPORTS
We were inspected in October 2024 and Francis Holland Sloane Square met the standards in every area*.
It is particularly pleasing to see that the ISI inspectors recognised the positive and safe pupil environment that we have at FHS. Inspectors found that the school has ‘created a positive culture in which pupils feel safe and can thrive’. The report also highlights that:
‘Pupils’ self-awareness develops quickly, and they learn to show respect for each other and other cultures.’
‘Pupils feel heard and supported.’
‘The school offers a broad, engaging and forward-looking curriculum… focus on encouraging pupils’ intellectual curiosity and deep learning.’
*Under the new Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection framework, brought in in Summer 2023, schools no longer receive overall judgements such as ‘excellent’; instead, the inspectors report on whether a school meets expected ISI standards in five key areas.
AWARDS
As well as having been named Sunday Times Independent Secondary School of the Year 2023, Francis Holland Sloane Square has received significant, consistent national award recognition in recent years in areas including Pastoral Care and Wellbeing, Sixth Form and Futures, Outreach, STEM and Sport. This holistic success is built upon the belief that girls who feel truly known within a happy and supportive community are freed to achieve extraordinary things, learning to take risks and to be fearless in attitude and ambition.
