Committee

The Committee comprises approximately 15 individuals: the Chair, the Co Chair (Head), Secretary, Treasurer, two Events Representatives, two Careers Representatives along with six Year Group Representatives (from Years 6 – 11)

Each of the year group representatives is a class representative and acts as the conduit for ensuring relevant information is disseminated to the Senior School parents.

The SSPA Committee meets on a monthly basis and an agenda is circulated to the SSPA Committee members in advance of the meeting.

Minutes of the meeting are circulated to SSPA Committee members who in turn distribute the information to all parents in the Senior School.

Class Representatives

Each class in the Senior School has 1-4 appointed class representative who are responsible for the following:

  • Arranging two or three informal social events with parents each term (coffee mornings / casual drinks / dad’s night)
  • Arranging social events on an ad hoc basis for the girls (such as bowling or reeling)
  • Arranging at least one evening social with parents across the year group (Christmas drinks / summer drinks)
  • Eliciting volunteers, donations or promoting attendance at school social events.
