We support learning in all these subjects by providing computing facilities with support staff help from 8.00 a.m. each day. The school Library is well stocked with relevant material to the A Level course and there is a system of short loans for the most heavily used texts. The school has a full-time professional Chartered Librarian, who can assist sixth formers with their research.
Sixth formers at Francis Holland are encouraged to develop good study habits that will serve them well at A level and beyond. Lower VI students attend a Sixth Form Induction Course at the start of the Autumn Term and an A2 Induction Course after their AS examinations in June. These induction courses help girls to integrate into the sixth form at AS and A2 Level and focus on the study skills that they will require to succeed.
