Introduction to the Sixth Form

Francis Holland has a dedicated sixth form centre, housed in the separate Morison Wing with specialised facilities and resources. 

The average size of an A Level class is six to eight students and the usual maximum is ten.  The combination of individual attention and committed and experienced teaching staff resulted in our best ever A Level results in 2008.

Sixth formers enjoy numerous privileges as they develop greater independence in preparation for the transition to university or college life.  There are also many opportunities to take on responsibilities within the school. 

Sixth formers receive extensive support in their plans for Higher Education, ensuring that they have access to the best courses and universities.
