Animal Club

Animal Club meets on Friday lunchtime for Year 7and 8.  It is run by Miss Powell with the assistance of the Sixth Form prefects in the Biology labs.

Members of the club enjoy learning to look after the wide variety of animals that we keep in school.  These range from hamsters, gerbils and chinchillas to fish, a leopard gecko, a corn snake and even a tarantula! 

They also have fun as they play with, stroke and cuddle the animals.  The girls learn some of the responsibilities involved in keeping animals, cleaning out their cages and ensuring that they have food and clean water.

Members of the club may take animals home for weekends or holidays.
