Service - The aim of the Service Section is to encourage service to individuals and to the community. It is designed to show participants that they have a responsibility to each other and to society as a whole, and that voluntary help is needed. In the past students have done such things as learning First Aid, volunteering in a charity shop and volunteering at a local primary school.

Past students chosen activities have included swimming, rowing, horse riding and Indian dancing.
Expeditions - The aim of the Expeditions Section is to encourage a spirit of adventure and discovery. They provide valuable training in planning and organisation. They require determination, mental and physical stamina and the ability to work together as a team in all situations.
For each level all girls will complete both a Practice and a Qualifying Expedition. In July we often enjoy fine weather and beautiful scenery around Corfe Castle and the coast west of Swanage, and for the Qualifying Expedition in September we head to Arundel in West Sussex. On these expeditions girls have to walk 24 km carrying large rucksacks containing all their food, clothes, sleeping bags and tents. They also have to assemble their own tents and cook their own meals on camping stoves.
