The benefits of experiencing history outside the classroom are enormous. We take advantage of our historically rich central London location by organising a wide range of visits all designed to enhance what has been learnt in the classroom. For example we visit:
Year 7 – Battle and Pevensey
Year 8 – Museum of London and Penshurst Place, Kent
Year 9 – Cabinet War Rooms
Year 10 – the Old Operating Theatre Museum, the Hunterian Museum, and a residential trip to the Somme and Ypres (with the English Department)
Year 11 - the Holocaust Exhibition at the Imperial War Museum
