The Year 2 class had a wonderful day on the River Thames at Chiswick Pier. They learned a great deal about the environment and conservation through playing the game 'The River of Life'.

In the afternoon they became 'mud larks' as they paddled in the river and found many fascinating creatures. Julia was ecstatic when she found an old clay pipe that was identified by Lorraine our teacher at the Thames Explorer Trust, as belonging to Tudor times!
A great day out for everyone.
