Congratulations to our 'London Love' team who were invited to the Semi-Finals of the Wings of Hope Achievement Award. Year 10 pupils Holly Allan, Sasha Courtenay-Stamp, Alissia Dawood, Chloe Fasel and Atlanta Walsh were invited to make a presentation about their fund raising work to a distinguished panel at the House of Lords.
The group raised more than £3000 for the charity Wings of Hope which provides free education for children in India and Malawi. They organised a disco at The Dorchester Hotel with the theme 'I love London' for 11-13 year olds from Francis Holland School and from neighbouring boys' schools including Westminster Under School and Sussex House.

Guests were treated to delicious drinks and canapƩs, a fake tattoo artist and a photographer. Duran Duran drummer, Roger Taylor, generously acted as DJ for the night.
The team are now waiting to hear if they have made it through to the finals.
