The Spring Concert was held in St Mary's, Bourne Street on Tuesday 30th March 2010.
The varied programme included performances from Fanny Davies Music Competition winners Miranda Ostler, Holly Godwin-Thompson, Diva Jeffrey, Ayesha Issadeen, Hannah Colgan and the Sixth Form Trio of Olivia Brocklebank-Fowler, Honoria Morgan and Jasmin Wharmby.
There were perfomances from the Wind Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Brass Ensemble and the Guitar Group, who performed a haunting version of 'Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo'.
The Vocal Workshop gave a foretaste of what is to come on the Performing Arts Evenings (27th and 29th April) with their entertaining performance of 'Coffee in a Cardboard Cup'.
The Middle School Choir is rehearsing for the Choir Tour to Paris over the May Bank Holiday weekend and sang two songs 'Jubilate Servite' and 'What the World Needs Now' from its repertoire for the tour.
One of the highlights of the evening was the debut performance of a composition by A Level pupil, Georgina Parnell, performed by a string and trumpet ensemble.
The evening ended with an uplifting performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Love Changes Everything' performed by the Senior Choir with a string and brass accompaniment.
Congratulations to all the performers and thanks to all the staff involved, especially, of course, Mr Davies and Miss Kollek.
