Now the trials are over for the year and we are well into the term, fixtures are becoming increasingly busy. On Monday night we played Alleyn's school in Dulwich for netball and hockey.
The Year 7's were playing netball and both the A team and the B team were victorious with scores of 11-3 and 6-5 respectively.
The Year 8's had a tough game the A team losing 22-0 and the B team losing 11-0.
The Year 9 hockey team had their first game of the season against a well organised Alleyn's team but they performed extremely well to lose 1-0. Special mention goes to Tia Shannon who has recently joined us this year and was superb in goal saving several shots on goal from the opposition. Issy Hoblyn who has also recently joined us was a rock in central defence.
Sadly on Tuesday our game for Year 7 and 8 hockey against More house was postponed and will be replayed on 13th December.
Next week is a busy week for the junior school netball matches and year 9 and year 10 hockey.
Well done to all.
