For 11+ entry, we suggest that you contact the school when your daughter is in Year 5 or early in the Autumn Term of Year 6 and book a place on one of our series of Open Mornings during the Autumn and Summer Terms (see open events for current dates). You may also like to attend our Open Evening in the Autumn Term (on Thursday 7th October 2010 6-8pm), for which no prior booking is necessary. Most parents bring their daughter to at least one of our open events.
Your daughter must be registered by the end of November for the entrance examination in January. In the examination, your daughter will be tested in English and Mathematics. See below to download sample questions in English and Mathematics, past papers and also Guidance notes from the Consortium. They are also available from the school office.
The school is a member of the London Independent Girls’ Schools Consortium Group 1 and the papers that your daughter will sit will be common to other schools in that group. Please follow the link below for details as to how the Consortium system operates.
All applicants are invited into school for a half day of interviews in February. During this time, your daughter will have an individual interview with a senior member of staff and she will also participate in two group sessions, one of which will be numerically based and the other literacy based. The school also requests a reference from the Head of your daughter’s Junior School.
