Another year of excellent A level results. 99% pass rate with 85% grade A*/B. Some outstanding individual successes including one girl with 4A*s and another who exceeded the requirement of her Cambridge offer. By Monday 22nd August almost all girls had achieved places at university courses of their choosing. Bristol was very popular this year with girls taking up places to read Medicine, Neuroscience, Russian, Italian and Theology. Other university destinations for Francis Holland girls this year include Edinburgh, Exeter, Newcastle, Cambridge, the London School of Economics, Kings College ( London), Leeds, Warwick, Manchester, Nottingham and the University of Virginia. Psychology, History, History of Art and Sociology have proved popular subjects this year but the range is vast, from International Studies to Architectural Interior Design.

Also congratulations go to our GCSE candidates on another impressive set of results. Over 60% of subjects were graded A*/A and half of the year achieved A* or A in 8 or more subjects.
