The Morison verse competition took place on Thursday 11th February. This year, there were prizes for the best creative poems, and group performances of poems, as well as a prize for the best recitation. Amongst the highlights were Year 7's lines to accompany masks depicting emotional states, and Year 8's entertaining ballads.
The winners were:
Best poem: Honor Firth, 'The Old Woman', Nicole Parviz, 'Caesar Salad Ballad'
Best recitation: Anna Swinton
Best group: 'Mountain Lion': Cordelia Barnes, Grace White, Hebe Macken and Yara Edrees
